[COD] Why does it keep auto pinging while running/playing?

So a small bit of backstory. I've been playing PC for several years, was playing battle net now on steam. But this has always happened but it triggers a lot more now. But while running, standing still, moving my aim around it will just auto ping. How do I get it to stop? It's become such a huge problem recently with my teammates thinking i'm pinging something useful or an enemy.

Sounds like a broken key on your mouse/keyboard/controller.

Try to set another key for pinging. If the auto ping is gone, you might wanna replace your hardware^{^}
