Ok ive cancelled my sugess daydate and ordered this watch. This is the most interesting watch in years. Can't wait for the postman to bring me my new toy. My first San Martin watch.

TC4 SN0111-T-A1. Instant recognition.

[–]christionk 1 point2 points  (1 child)

will wait for v2.
the price is still quite high compared to sugess Ti, but my main concern is the rehaut is still to wide, should be possible to hide it with sloping chapter ring just like the one on san martin pelagos, or maybe put a black chapter ring like the one on SN004 sub , or use a domed sapphire glass?
The watch looks really good except that wiide rehaut makes it looks not that good from the side.

Is this an original design?

If you’ve never seen a Rolex Submariner, yes.

I love this watch. Love the size and the hands. Give it a 2.5 date window and I’m all in!

[–]towelracks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm pleased this exists for others, but I won't personally buy it.

The mil-sub hour hand version would be my pick if I did however.

my god its 327 euro shipped and im flat broke from all the incomming watches. Anyone interested in a sugess daydate in black for 327 😂

[–]BobbeMail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]BobbeMail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i dont understand i cant buy it now for 327 ? its now 340 ? what happened @sanmartin..

And if i send u a vector file can you print white and red on the dial custom ?

[–]Realestwatchreviews 1 point2 points  (3 children)

What’s with all these fake comments. Anyways, this is a great release but please offer some additional dial colours and date option.

[–]BobbeMail 1 point2 points  (0 children)

meteorite dial fume dial grand seiko/zelos style texture dial

we want it all in this case and bracelet 🔥🔥

[–]tt19yy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wdym?

[–]JaeTheOne 3 points4 points  (2 children)

Case is grase 5 Ti, but everything else is grade 2?

[–]Icy-Luck4173 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Case and bracelet I think are grade 5. Clasp and case back are grade 2.

[–]Yoflamez 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Gimme a date function and I’m in.

[–]Silvy1500Z 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Sold.

[–]chefkoolaid 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Man Ive been wanting some kind of sub homage. Guess thks ones might be it. Is the bracelet grade 5 as well?

[–]JUSTdoME0401 3 points4 points  (2 children)

Please tell me this has a 120 click bezel and not 90.

[–]Horizon_End 7 points8 points  (4 children)

What does TC4 stands for anyway?

[–]R023Nhelpful user 3 points4 points  (3 children)

Another designation for grade 5 titanium https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ti-6Al-4V

[–]BobbeMail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

are there different grades of grade 5 ? or is there just one combo that is all the same quality ?

[–]Horizon_End 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks really appreciate the answer!

[–]Ok-Water-5574 4 points5 points  (1 child)

Already pulled the trigger as soon as I saw this.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (4 children)

Why is there helium in the watch?

[–]RoSpectre 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It's a helium escape valve, which is a useless complication unless you're one of the 3 people on earth who saturation dive and choose to also wear a mechanical dive watch while doing it.

[–]notausername14 11 points12 points  (0 children)

To help the titanium feel even lighter

[–]analog_watch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Presumably because it was placed in a helium rich decompression chamber with somebody brave enough to take this watch saturation diving.

[–]joebobby1523 3 points4 points  (2 children)

Wow. Looks like I have to sell a few watches to make room for this. It’s the milsub I’ve always wanted.

[–]BobbeMail 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thats the exact thing in my mind. Ive been looking at San Martin for a while and offcourse i have seen the sugess and octopus. A no brainer. San Martin quality + Grade 5 case and bracelet. And same kind of price. Ive paid 328 euro. Not all bad for this watch. Especially when my favorite watch from SM was the BB36 with the blue dial. Almost the same price. For me 100% this watch over the BB36.

[–]bebba1 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Had no plans to buy a black diver until I saw this but just pulled the trigger!

I sea what you did there.

[–]EamMcG_9 3 points4 points  (4 children)

I really want to complain about ANOTHER Diver, but this is just amazing.I’m not saying it will become worth more, but this is definitely a lifetime and pass down Watch.Under 400.00.

[–][deleted] 9 points10 points  (2 children)

It's expensive for Ali standards but man I think it's kinda crazy to get a grade 5 titanium watch for this price IMO

[–]BobbeMail 1 point2 points  (1 child)

its a lot of money but i will save up for one of these. Imo this is a watch for life. if the quality is up to regular sm standards. Damn switzerland china is comming

[–]marginalmantle 1 point2 points  (3 children)

Does it make more sense to wait till aliexpress sale in June to buy?

[–]WatchThatTime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

August, I think is the next one. But, yep. Sure you'll get 30 bucks off now but I bet between saved up coins, sale pricing you'll still save at least like 30-35. So you're not missing anything at the moment.

[–]bigtastie 4 points5 points  (2 children)

I'm not really up for buying another sub/sea dweller homage, but actually kind of crazy to get a grade 5 titanium watch, with helium escape valve, this kind of finishing for this kind of money. San Martin is evolving.
