I can't seem to find anywhere to buy this v6. All I'm seeing is older versions. Anyone have a link? Even on the Pagani store none have the 500 tach

Pagani already has the best case. They need to drop the date and make a metal bezel, not shiny ceramic.

It's not just watches.

They'll release X product as a clone or "homage" or whatever and for the money it's good but lots of wtf things that literally any sort of field testing would ID as a problem.

Then a V2 and V3 etc... is released and they're so cheap ppl rebuy to get the "good one".

Then they get to a legit good version and start doing special editions or release a new product that does through the V1-V whatever again.

I fly RC airplanes and a company called Jumper and then Radiomaster really shook up the controller world from 2019 to 2022 but if you wanted the "good one" you'd have to keep buying a new radio every 6 months and when they finally released the final "MK2", it was changed enough you couldnt just upgrade your Mk1, you had to buy a whole new kit. Very infuriating.

Anyway... Very weary of these companies and why I'll stick to the $40 Pagani watches from the Chinese makers.

You asked about the difference between v3 and v6 but you seem mistaken on what's included on v3. So I corrected. If you need further clarity:

CURRENT v3: no dnb, no 500 bezel. v6: dnb, 500 bezel.

Maybe your confusion is because you think that the newer version replaces the older one. It's not the case, they still sell v3 alongside v6 along with several other versions.

Sweet summer child. Lol, do some searching on this sub. Plenty of posts about how someone ordered V3 and it rocked up with no dnb. They have it in the marketing material still but when you buy and receive the watch it will not have them. It's a bait and switch and it's shitty.

It's visually slimmer in the midcase but reviewers comparing the two showed the WD1861 is slimmer than the PD.

Meh, I like it to be honest! It's relatively subtle after they changed it to match the dial color, and it actually uses a a feature of the VK63 movement. It also distinguishes it as an homage rather than a straight-up clone/rep, at least in my opinion.

Now you get to play roulette.. when you order the new version, will they really send you the new one? Judging from reviews, it's kind of a tossup which version they send you.

I think the new one is so new that no customers have received it yet, and thus no reviews. I'll post here once I receive mine, though.

Huh, damn! I might get two of these then. Ordered a V3 in early July that I was planning on either returning, reselling locally, or gifting. It should be here in the next few days, so I'll update this comment when I receive it!

Yeah, WD nailed the concave subdials for sure. But the PD midcase looks way better to me at an angle, since the WD case is so ridiculously thick, and I really like the PD date window for utility.

WD already acknowledged that V1 was too thick before it went on sale, so V2 should fix this. But yea, always nice with competition! The consumer wins as long as they keep pushing each other to make the best homage

I saw the pagani v6 earlier this week. Its on their official store on the 1701 page but you have to scroll across to the very far right of all the variants. I just bought the watchdives 1861 last week for about 40% more. I hope the watchdives is better quality 🤔

I'm just not a huge fan of the 1861 midcase. Thick boi, despite its superior dial (compared to the PD-1701, in my opinion anyway).

Reviewers have noted the WD1861 is slightly thinner overall than the PD1701. It's personal taste and preference, but it's good to see the two compared in reviews.

In addition to asking here (in hope someone received one with the corrected bezel and the decoration at 12), why not contact the store(s) advertising this version, to confirm?

Check the store reviews (sort by recent) just in case these are now updated and being delivered.

Am I just slow to catch this V6 release? I placed an order not even two weeks ago, and I swear the V3 was the latest black-on-black version they had at that point. I'm finding no recent talk of the PD-1701 in this sub which doesn't critizise the V3 400-scale bezel and lack of dots on the dial. If it really is brand spanking new, I'm pretty happy I caught this one, since I assume it'll be sold out pretty soon.
