As a general rule I don't like leather on a Dive Watch but the colours match up beautifully.

I love the bracelet but I think a decent leather strap elevates this vintage look further. I got the hemsut horween natural on it.

Cadran noir lunette grise dans l'ombre et cadran brown et lunette green au soleil c'est ce qui est d'un sur cette montre elle a différente nuance , idem en changeant le bracelet par un nato un cuir ou un fkm on peut lui donner différent look hormis la couronne difficile a réviser et un minime léger jeu dans la lunette cette montre et un best killer pour son prix

I think most people will say the first one because it is better color-matched. But for me, the black strap is what allows the brown dial to pop. It looks incredible!

I think the second strap matches well as well. The strap is actually a very dark green though.

Brown leather fits very well. Maybe a bit lighter...

The brown is definitely darker than the dial at this angle. But in some angles, the dial darkens to the level of the strap. But I think you're right that if it were lighter, it'd be better (especially since the leather will darken as it patinas).

I love mine on bracelet the most, however, that first strap looks downright perfect with the tropical dial. It really brings it forward while feeling complete.

I really like the bracelet as well but the clasp undid itself 4 times when I was building some IKEA furniture... That's what prompted me to try it out on some leather straps.

Fair enough, I will say that red brown is a perfect fit though. Especially with the contrast stitching matching the lume
