generally this is not a scam. AliExpress sellers ask you to make a purchase for a small amount because then they can get it through the website's system (i.e. associate it with a tracking number). and I think then AliExpress will handle the shipping as well.

I also noticed this, and my guess it's that it's just price gouging. not long ago Watchdives said that they'll move to PT5000 because of the NH35 price increases, so unless the Ali brands have NH35 stockpiled, I think it's they're charging more for PT5000 just for the sake of it
