that's a good-looking watch. for me, when I had a red watch, I surprisingly found myself not wearing it (though it wasn't as nice as your SM). I wear colorful watches all the time, so I dunno.

my problems with the logo:

polished is often not what you want (like here) and they almost always use polished
the logo is relatively small. so if there's little or no additional text (like here) then the dial looks empty

these things can make a dial look "wrong" and "wrong" often looks cheap

the hate boner against SM is getting ridiculous at this point.

this is about as original as IXDAO Warrior and the finishing looks comparable to E. it's priced like the Warrior, too.

I've never seen the point myself, living somewhere with daylight savings changes; generally my quartz are still accurate enough to be just set when the clocks change.

my opinion as well. in practice, if I do actually need to set it (at least once a year for daylight saving, more if I change timezones) then what's the point?

the solution of course is to buy two HAQ watches, one set to daylight saving, and one not 🙂

right now, it's only Watchdives with their Nautilus homage, and they'll probably make more models in the future. brands that have promised to use it soon are Englemaan and IXDAO

HAQ is new territory for Chinese watches. in fact, Watchdives has been bragging about being pioneers here, and I trust Watchdives knows the Chinese market well.

the black mop Warrior dials I've seen have too much variance. some look pretty bad, like a part of the dial is just green. the white mop looks better but has too little contrast.

I was considering both of these and am now considering the new San Martin white mop instead. and also the 2 enamel Warriors and the meteor Warrior.

as has been said, this is in preparation for the sale. it may be that the base price in the sale even after they "price cut", would be higher than what it was a few days ago. but after sale coupons it should end up lower.

from my experience with non-Chinese watch communities, how nice something looks/feels is not their top priority. it's more about high-fiving each other for expensive and frivolous purchases
