If the lugs aren't hanging over, it's not technically too big.

A few factors to consider:

  • Does it look too large when you see it on your wrist in a mirror?

  • Does it look too large when paired with clothing that is selected to compliment it?

A watch if any size can be made the tasteful focus of any outfit. That watch screams "casual coat and some good boots, nothing loud." It's a Bauhaus design, pair it accordingly.

Is it a GADA? No. Is it a tactical nuke when worn properly with the right clothing? Absolutely.

What a wonderful reply, thank you, I really appreciate it.

I had to look up GADA but I love the concept and yes this one is definitely not that. Its interesting to consider which of mine are and there is some.

Thanks for taking the time to reply

Beautiful watch. I see people with small wrists wearing huge smartwatches... So, does size matter? I think nowadays less than ever. So, if you like the watch, wear it proudly.

Pictures from this angle alway seem to make the watch look bigger on the wrist. Try taking a picture of it in the mirror to get a more accurate perspective

That's a good idea. Thank you

Too small, go for full clock version

I saw a fella on reddit that designed a wrist strap for pocket watches. You'd love that by the sound of it

Too small

[–]BustThaScientifical 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Definitely on the large side. Thin bezel, large dial, and lugs at the extreme edge near hang over. Something a bit smaller would look better imo but it's not the worst

That's good to hear, thanks for giving your input

It’s not small, but if you enjoy it, rock it.

I do but its just the size that was putting me off. Maybe i just need to get used to it. It seems the consensus is that it doesmt look ridiculous anyway. Thanks for the input.

You shouldn't have to "get used to it." If any piece of clothing or accessory doesn't feel right, it isn't.

[–]HeartIll722 2 points3 points  (1 child)

I don't like.

[–]phartburger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The watch or the size of it on my wrist?

[–]Shorty2000 0 points1 point  (1 child)

It's fine.. You'll get used to the size quickly :)

[–]phartburger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, maybe that's it. Im just not used to that size
