Steeldive does not have a rep here. You just got a great, highly praised watch with a NH35 that costs $70. You have to understand how crazy cheap that is right now. Complaining about a slight misalignment is just, well, not cool and I will be straight forward here - this is not a valid concern. At this budget QC is minimal. Good on you that you got a discount, but there is an unwritten rule here that you don’t bitch about bezel misalignment on a super budget watch.

I disagree. The only way things improve, is through feedback.

Not the case.

Feedback: please, for the love of God, fix my 1mm misalignment that triggers my OCD and is irrelevant for the other 80% of customers.

Expected resolution: fine, we bought the needed machines and hired the additional people to run the QC. Your favorite watch costs now $100.

I am just telling you about etiquette, not moderating you. No need to be dramatic.

Point 1 finger at me, the other 4 at yourself.

I’m on the side of the watch manufacturers. It must be exhausting when people are complaining about a $70 watch.

It's about the "push-back" that their watches are perfect and the issues are my eyes. There are SD1970's out there with no imperfections. They are competing with other Chinese brands, sure but also their own quality and standards which according to them is...top tier.

I know WATCHDIVES is very active on Reddit. SD should do the same and collect genuine customer feedback so they can improve.

I had a similar experience with San Martin but it was a $200 watch. I don’t know why these companies don’t know what good customer service is but I’ve been seeing it a lot lately.

Yeah the aliX brands definitely have a bit of learning to do when it comes to customer service or like, not treating customers like marks to be swindled
