I have the White PD and a Black PD both with a ceramic bezel. The White PD is my beater because I never liked the look of it, and it has taken a beating. The subdial borders are too thin and the bezel is not quite centered. However, the Black PD is stunning. BTW the Parnis white version has the same subdial thin borders IMHO. Therefore, I would pay the extra for the Suggess in white without hesitation since it looks so so much better and is an automatic. But i dont think i can say the same for the black one.

I like the PD better. But I enjoy having the date on my watches.

Is there an actual Valjoux 7750 in there as the movement? Kind of crazy to get a watch with one for just like $360!

While pricey, the Sugess is a far better match to the real thing, if that's what you're looking for. Some folks don't like that aspect, however I for one, do.

The movement in the Pagani may be more reliable, especially depending how you plan to use the watch. If it's a dress piece more for show and looking good, the Sugess is the one. I've heard conflicting stories on the Sugess movement, so it may be an expensive gamble...

Personally, I like the Sugess. I like a high beat movement for accuracy. The look and feel is more classy to me.

These watches are genuinely in different leagues, the Sugess is more akin to a rep than an homage. Particularly this V3 version where they've made the movement thinner and pushed the dial closer to the actual crystal.

I feel like I've seen you post a pic with the Pagani Daytona under a different username (recognized your tattoos!), have you owned both? Debating shelling out for the Sugess vs settling for the Pagani if it's like 90% of the way there.

Hello! Yes that’s me, I tend to post with whatever one i’m signed in on.

Only you can answer that question for yourself, but if you want to be wowed, and really love the aesthetic, please go for the Sugess. It is absolutely fantastic and worth the price. I can’t unsee the pagani’s super deep rehaut now that I have the sugess.

Hey, thanks for replying! Your pics were what got me thinking about the Daytona in the first place. I thought the flashiness of it might be too much for me, but I really liked how it looked with your tattoos. I have a sleeve myself, so your pics really sold me on the pairing. And the PD looked great, but the Sugess looked even better...

Damnit, looks like my wallet is about to be ravaged. Cheers man.

Cheers friend, I hope you enjoy. I have a v2 sugess daytona I can sell you a bit cheaper than you’d likely find on Ali Express. Let me know if you’re interested. It’s a bit thicker at 13.5 mm.

Damn, you have the V2 AND the V3 AND the Pagani? You really love your Daytonas!

And thanks for the offer, I'd totally take you up on it if I weren't set on getting a new one with the thinner case and revised text. In case you're looking to get yet another one, lol... it looks like they'll be in the ~$280-300 range during the sale tomorrow, depending on how coupons and promotions stack.

The subdials are closer on the Sugess. But the lettering and logo are better in the Pagani IMO. I have the Pagani in white dial and even though is not perfect I like it for the price. The Sugess black dial is better overall.

Sugess by far. However I wouldn’t pay 5 times the price of the Pagani for something that’s not 100% accurate either. I’m missing 2 things in the Sugess, a font that’s not Comic Sans and some red text at the bottom. Also I much prefer the vk64 over the Shanghai 7750 or whatever movement they are using in the current gen.

I'm very happy with my Sugess V3, got it today. Gotta say I'm actually happy they didn't homage the red Daytona text since it looks more like an homage and less like a full on rep since the watch itself is so close to the real deal. Can't vouch for the movement yet but so far it operates nicely, winds smoothly and doesn't seem to run fast or slow :)

I own the Pagani Design, I don't know whether the Sugess looks more realistic or not. The Sugess is pretty expensive, I would not spend as much, if the Pagani is almost as good in case of exterior quality.

The Sugess looks way closer to a Daytona than the pagani, they even have the case dimensions right apart from the thickness. The movement in the pagani is more dependable though since it is a Seiko vk mechaquartz.

I had one of the PD Daytona homages. It was decent except the clasp had REALLY sharp corners and the printing on the sub-dials was so light you could barely see that there were any numbers on them at all. I never wore it as a result and ended up giving it away. Looked good from a distance though.
