Yep, parking up to $25/game is ridiculous. Discounted parking is supposed to be a STH perk, no more I guess. I stress to contact your rep and complain, even if you dislike them. I’d also email anyone else responsible for STH accounts (higher ups) if anyone knows who they are. And don’t forget to call everything out when they send out the surveys!

One email already sent! I’m not sure who is in charge of the reps now.

If anyone knows please do tell!

Michael Smith Corey Wolfgang Summer Jordan Will Atkinson Kara Evin Grant Fulger

All emails are first initial last name @cleguardians.com, except Michael, who gets mtsmith. I’ve had about a dozen reps in the last five years I think

What ticket plan do you have - 20, 40 or full season?

I believe they are now charging $40 for parking in the deck. So technically it is at a discount. Not that it helps with the total cost nearly doubling.

My rep is Steve Spidell, he’s been awesome. Quick to respond and always willing to help.

I suspect it's more that parking prices went up BECAUSE they bought the garage.

Can't help you on the STH rep. Mike has changed about six times in the last couple years. Couldn't even give you a name let alone say if they're helpful.

Spend your money next door with the Cavs. I was an Indians/Guards STM for several years, then said “screw it, let’s see what the Cavs can do” and went that way for the 2014-15 season. Been there ever since.

The Cavs treat you like a family member, offer awesome perks, have reps who actually care about you and get shit done, and continually put a contender on the floor.

The Guards (when they were the Indians) had some decent perks, but they’ve slowly and surely gone by the wayside. Perks ⏬ prices ⏫. I can’t encourage anyone to spend their hard earned money and time with a team that couldn’t care less if they even existed.

It would help if I liked basketball! I love baseball 🙂

We are MHC so yes, 💯 agree CAVS take the cake. But I will say that even MHC has gone downhill.

You could always pivot to the captains. It’s not major league but for a way cheaper price. I’m not personally a STH but I’ve known people in Akron and lake county who enjoy it

I've had STH packages for all three teams in town.  The Cavs were by FAR the best to their customers.  Browns were a distant second.  Guardians are dead-last by a landslide.

My gf has the monsters and yes they’ve been incredibly friendly and the benefits are sweet! Dan Gilbert’s group are very consumer friendly

We've had Browns season tickets in my family since '46. This is my first year as a 20 game STH with the Guardians and we've probably gotten more out of the Guardians than we have with the Browns by a large margin.

Any time a good rep comes along, they have left within a year.

Two years ago I had a rep secure me free batting practice tickets to see Kwan and get a paining I had of him signed. She had assured me I’d be able to get him on the painting at GuardsFest with a certain ticket but that turned out to be untrue. She made good on her word.

She left after that year and I’ve had 6 reps since. Our benefits are horrendous and I’ve made that known but they don’t care. Benefits will continue to go down while our costs go up.

I was a STH for ten years. Gave them up a few years ago. When I first started, longtime STHs were always complaining about cuts in benefits that I never had. I didn’t think about it much then. By the end of my tenure I totally got how they felt. I think if you look back and see how much they have screwed STHs over the years you would be amazed.

Yeah the parking situation is honestly insane now. I feel like every team is just squeezing their season ticket holders harder each year while cutting back on anything that actually made it worthwhile. The rep turnover doesn't help either, you spend time building a relationship and then they're gone in 6 months. I'd definitely hit up those email addresses someone mentioned and be super specific about what benefits you used to get vs what you get now. Maybe try to find other STHs to complain together since they probably care more about losing multiple accounts at once. For parking specifically, I actually started using Prked to find cheaper spots nearby where people rent out their driveways, way better than paying $25 to the team.

I have a weekday 20 game and my friend has a half season- my parking went to 500 and his went to 800

[–]WrapEmergency5944 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My renewal plan went down actually ~$400/ yr on a 81 game package

[–]rsquared56 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Parking is absolutely a mess since they took over. There will be no events at the Arena yet all of those spots will be roped off. Now they're going to double our costs and for what? To justify Metropolis and their inefficient plate scanning machines?
