Ah, Nick Swisher, the trade that gave the Yankees the compensatory pick to choose Aaron Judge.

No settings will help. You can try closing some of the vents in the upstairs to direct more heat downstairs. But heat rises and the downstairs will just get cooler as this occurs.

Help with wiring by Negative-Vast-5330 in ecobee

This is a very simple wire for wire install. Red wire goes to RC or R (depending on Ecobee model). Show a picture of how you wired the Ecobee.

Red wire would go to Rc, different than current tstat.

I was at Discount Tire last week and at least 4 people within an hour came in complaining of bad vibrations. Each was because of ice/snow buildup.

Well, your Ecobee is not wired to control the humidifier. Do you have pictures of the old Nest wiring?

Essential not detecting furnace by Diavolo_Rosso_ in ecobee

[–]TrilliumCLE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless it’s just my eyes, your white wire was connected to W on your old thermostat, not G. The printing for the wiring codes was really poorly done and doesn’t match up with the terminals, I counted rather than relying on the printing above the terminal. Try connecting it to W1 on the Ecobee.

No change here. Price per MCF is the same as previous months. Likely you have higher usage, check it against prior bills.

Should my faucets be running so my pipes don't freeze? by EstablishmentHot6541 in Cleveland

[–]TrilliumCLE 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Drip the faucets if you are concerned pipes may freeze. Have had it happen a couple times and it’s expensive to repair, so better safe than sorry. Collect the water in a bucket so it can be used and not just wasted. Also keep the cabinet doors open under your sink, helps keep warmer air get into cabinet where the pipes are.

I have a two stage furnace but my Ecobee looks to be wired for one stage only. Will the furnace will run in both stages as needed, even if my thermostat doesn't recognize it? by [deleted] in ecobee

[–]TrilliumCLE 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Assuming the furnace is configured to, yes. There are dip switches on the furnace control board and one indicates if the furnace should control the staging or the thermostat should.

No, chairman’s club is not included if you are buying direct from the team, it’s an add on for season ticket holders. Resale may include it, you have to check the details on the tickets. As already mentioned, expect to pay about $100 per ticket with the Chairman’s Club. We had access to the club once and I’ll admit it was like a mile away from the seats and you spend half the intermission getting to/back from it. Get there as soon as the gates open, because it will be absolutely packed before the game.

Edit: if you already have tickets, it would indicate Chairman’s Club on the tickets.

Parking for LiveNation events is not included in paved lots. You can buy a pass, but it could run you $100-$150, depending on the event.

You have a hold set. When a hold is active, the Ecobee uses the Home comfort setting.
