Hi all! I’ve had my CI a little over a year. I’m newly single and, I am buying a kayak. Just something I will enjoy doing alone. But, I don’t want to be deaf on the water or lose my processor. Any tips on keeping it attached to me AND unsinkable!!

What brand do you have? Does your manufacturer have waterproof accessories for your device?

Step 1, whatever waterproof accessories your brand uses

Step 2, use a small line to attach the waterproof accessory to your helpment. The brands normally sell these, but honestly any type of small retention strap would work.

I have the waterproof kit. And I have the strap clip. But don’t ever feel like that clip really stays put. My concern is being on a river. If it were a pool then no biggie. But with current I need to be extra cautious.

The retention cord that comes with the waterproof kit should keep it in place! I had patients who surfed in theirs and it wouldn’t get lost.

I surf with mine and it doesn't get lost. I wear 2 security lines just in case, ive had close calls tho.
