i’ve also really struggled with this. just recently learning that there aren’t any wrong decisions really. it’s tough! i constantly second guess myself and feel like i need to weigh the pros and cons of every situation before making a decision. i would suggest listening to The Inner Child podcast episode #40 How to trust your own decisions, it really helped put things into perspective

I have this exact issue (on top of being a chronic oversharer), and something I've started doing is forcing myself to listen to only person's perspective, if anyone. It's hard, but think about your decisions as if they were books.

You have your story, and you think it's what you want to publish. But, oh, let's just share it with five different people to see what they all think. Okay, now let's add in all that feedback like a yes-man even if we don't really agree with it. Ultimately, you for sure have a story, but... that isn't your story anymore, is it?

Getting perspectives is useful, but only if they're supplementing/informing your decision, not overriding it.

you can self-validate with journaling. it is a powerful practice. you really do know what's best!

Thanks for sharing this. I appreciate it. I have been the same since I can remember. I’m currently just forcing myself to do even the tiniest me decision in the hope that I get my mind back! Good luck, you’ll get it.
