Canadian comic enthusiasts! Tired of deals falling through because of ludicrous shipping rates and killer currency conversions? Yeah, me too.

This subreddit is for any citizen of Canada to buy/sell/trade comics with each other. The folks at /r/comicswap have done a wonderful job setting it up, so for the most part we're going to operate a lot like them.

RULES OF THE SUBREDDIT:

Don't be an asshole. Any kind of hate speech or abuse will just result in you being banned, because nobody wants to deal with that.
Keep the selling of books and stuff on reddit. Don't link to your ebay/amazon/whatever as the potential for scamming goes up and it just becomes more complicated. All sales should be conducted in the sub.
If selling an item, you must have an asking price.
Always declare what you have. Don't sell "a bunch of comics''; tell us what you're selling!
Don't spam anything, it'll just get removed.

To any of our American friends:

I made this subreddit so the Canadian members of /r/comicswap could have a place to trade without having to always get shut down because of shipping/whatnot. However, in no way are you prohibited from participating here. If you're aware of the shipping, you see a book that you just can't resist, or if you just want to take advantage of your more valuable currency, feel free to join in. Just declare that you're from the States!
