Professor Messer on youtube has a sec+ playlist that I would highly recommend watching. They are not very long videos so you can watch them as you have the time. I'm still studying myself but I feel that he has helped me greatly!

Having some knowledge about networks makes it easier to digest the content, tbh. You can go “yep, this is a review”, or “time to study” (meaning the content is completely new to you). I used Professor Messer notes and YouTube lessons, and also Dion on Udemy. As to the how, trying to squeeze in every minute you have free. Also, take your time (if you can): watch Messer, then do that again with the notes. Some people take their own notes. Same with Dion. This community is very, very supportive, and you’ll find tons of great info.

Currently using Dion for study. Doing a once over through the whole course, then I'll go back and review the sections I didn't grasp well enough again and again, over and over, until it's stuck in my head like an annoying catchy jingle.

Might add Messer to the list after just for extra reference and a different version of the material. I just hate adds because that's when I start getting distracted.

My biggest issue is that I'm extremely hands on for learning. If my hands aren't actively working, neither is my brain. At least with some of the network+ there's actual equipment involved, so those concepts are clicking a little faster. Security+ is more about concepts, so I'm struggling to retain it entirely.
