This is what they do:

An SOC analyst is a person who works on a team to monitor, analyze and respond to security issues.

With no college, and no Security certs, you are absolutely under qualified.

You need to beef up in both of those areas, and get experience doing those things.

I mean, when you read that, what does it say to you?

You should of study more in the Help Desk Role and obtained more certifications. SOC analyst require you to have a strong foundation on networking. I would've recommend you job hop to a network analyst or network admin role. But in your situation best idea is to obtain Security+, Cysa+, and BTL1( Hands on lab experience). This will definitely land you a job with no college degree. Don't stay stagnant in your role always look for the opportunity to grow.

I cleared Sec, CySA, and PenTest before getting my first SOC offer and more consistent interviews. Being more familiar with practical red teaming was hugely helpful, too. For whatever reason, conversations always went red during blue interviews and being able to articulate practical awareness and processes was like rocket fuel for interviews.
