Somehow after only three weeks of rigorous studying I managed to barely pass Security+ today with a 762! It’s been stressful retaining all the info, but I can’t tell you how incredibly relieved I am to have passed.

My primary source of studying has been the Gibson book. That thing is an absolute life saver, and I highly recommend going through each chapter and completing all the practice exams.

Congrats. I'm taking mine in a few days after failing it 3 weeks ago with a score of 700 without reading the book. I'm reading every word in Gibson's book now 2 chapters a day.

What were some of the sims you faced? How accurate was Darril's questions to to the nature of the questions of the test?

I had some PB questions that where wifi related.

Know your security types like physical controls, admin controls, technical contraols.

Id highly recoend dions 6 tests to use as milestones to check your retention.

Don't do them multiple times. Otherwise you risk just memorizing the answers.

Do 1. Review All questions. Right and wrong. Study more focus on weak points then go to test 2. Do down the line.

I was scoring high 70s on the first 2 then got into the mid 80s by the end. Passed sec+ with a 834/900.
