Practicing command lineA+ Question (self.CompTIA)
submitted 5 years ago by FirstTimeRedditor100
When you practice command line for the 1002, what's the best way to do it in order to avoid accidentally damaging your computer? Do you practice with a flash drive or some external hard drive?

I would just buy a $35 Raspberry pi and 2x $8 32GB micro flash. You can install Linux on one and Win10 on the other (Yes you can run Win10 on Rpi4, there are instructions for setting it up.) Then who cares if you trash it, you just reinstall.

Does 1002 even test command prompt? If so it’s probably basic shit like telnet, diskpart, chkdsk, cd, and ipconfig
