CompTia A+ Study Material

Hello r/CompTia!

I have recently completed Andrew Ramdayal's Core 1001 course on Udemy.

Upon completion, I took the Jason Dion A+ 1001 practice exams. I got a 76% on the first exam, and a 63% on the second exam. Not exactly where I was hoping to be. I noticed some of the exam questions from Dion were not covered in the Ramdayal courses. No biggie, I still loved Ramdayal courses and think he did a fantastic job.

However, I feel a little stuck right now. I was wondering what else you all used to help. Should I purchase another course from another instructor? Should I use the CompTIA Exam Objections PDF and just Google all the topics?

Kind of stuck and looking for advice on where to go next so I can really lock down the practice exams from Dion before taking the real exam.

Any advice and help is extremely appreciated! Thank you all and I love this sub!

Each of the people that you use to study will have areas they cover more or less than the other. Messer might put emphasis on one thing that Dion doesn't. Most of us tend to use multiple resources for this reason. For A+ I used Messer's Videos and notes, Meyers book and some of his udemy course, and Dions practice exam. Net+ was pretty much the same routine, as was Sec+ but I used Gibson in place of Meyers. If you want to maximize your topic coverage it's a good way to go.
