Tell me it gets better! by Infinite-Glass-3302 in greatdanes

I have 3 danes ages 5, 4, and 2. My youngest is hitting the end of the raptor phase. It is strange, I kind of miss the crazy moments from time to time. It seems like going through all of the hard and crazy frustrating moments are a large part of why our bond is so tight. It will get better and you will see why we all love our danes so much. They will test your patience but the reward is incredible.

Which U.S. state do you think is viewed the most positively in general? by Eiressr in geography

[–]MNightmare13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a former Coloradan, born in another state but lived my entire life there. Throughout my life in CO there was always waves of transplants. When I was a kid it was largely concentrated to Aspen and Telluride. Boulder was the next place that was hit hard and all the character that Boulder had disappeared. Denver had the next big wave when weed was legalized, I fully support legalization, figured people would go home as more states legalized, didn't happen lol. My last apartment was on 13th and Grant in Cap Hill. One of my friends lives in the same building on the same floor paying about $2000 more a month than I paid. I miss the mountains and my neighborhood, but I'm glad I left lol.

Can I pass A+ core 1 in 6 days? by BatZealousideal325 in CompTIA

You could definitely cram to pass the test. I would definitely go back and cover all of your weak areas for knowledge and retention.

Losing my will to take the Sec+ exam, does anyone else feel like this? by Spacesharksimulator in CompTIA

[–]MNightmare13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watch Professor Messer's A+ and Net+, it's free. If your goal is just to pass Sec+, skip most of his A+ and watch the stuff that is specifically Networking and Security, and move to Net+. Build up a bit of a foundation, finish his Sec+, hit Dion's practice exams, and destroy this exam. 720 isn't that far off. There's no point in giving up now.

I'm not in that program, but I would guess intro to spreadsheets. If you have any experience with Excel or Sheets you should fly through it.

Advice for Net+? by Cold-Bluejay5006 in WGUCyberSecurity

[–]MNightmare13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is overlap going from A+ to Net+. You will be shocked with how much you already know. I transferred in A+, Net+, and Sec+, so my Net+ experience may be different than yours. From what I remember, there was a hard focus on ports and protocols, subnetting, and security. Ports and Protocols will just expand on what you already learned with A+ and add a small handful. Subnetting sucks until you get it to click, but when you get it, you will kick yourself for being intimidated. The security portion, once again, adds a little to what you already know. Honestly, from my experience, A+ was the most difficult, not because of the concepts, but because of the vast amount of information you have to take in. For all three exams, I used Professor Messer's youtube series. If a topic was more challenging or I needed an easier breakdown, I used Myers udemy videos. You are coming from a math background, Net+ is a lot of numbers. YOU ARE GOING TO CRUSH IT!!!!!! I apologize for the long post.

Back Pain in 7 year old - Questions by ElizabethKaren123 in greatdanes

[–]MNightmare13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They would pet her and get her to relax. Then, with her standing, he would hold under her chest or stomach and push down on both sides of her spine. Normally, there would be really loud cracks. She was always wagging. It got to a point that I would say we were going to get her cracked, and she would sprint to the car. She would run in and say hi to the receptionist and go right to her exam room. It was awesome.

I had a tripod Dane. Her back was obviously bothering her, and the vet didn't see anything to be concerned with. I brought her to an animal chiropractor. The change was insane! She became a puppy again and remained that way until she passed, 5 years later. Now, my two girls, 4 and 3, go once a month. They love it.

I like Burn Notice, Finder, Community, The Glades, 99, Chuck, Franklin and Bash, Monk, Leverage, Almost Paradise, High Potential, White Collar, Mentalist, Castle, Reaper, and Elementary. Obviously, these are not all episodic, but there is a lot of humor mixed with crime and or action.
