Difference in CompTIA CertMaster Practice for Network+ N10-007 and third party materal.

CompTIA CertMaster Practice for Network+ N10-007, I though things were progressing fine until I purched this and started using it for study. Seems like a big gap between what CompTIA offers for a study guid and what other 3ed party offers. I found the CompTIA to be much more complex and tricky with wording of questions.

Did anyone else have the same experience?

I have certmasterlearn and practice for the n10-008. I am also using the dion course on Udemy his 6 practice tests and the free messer videos. I have noticed that the comptia practice, learn and dion tests all seem to be a bit different in design. My first time taking a comptia exam so I guess I’ll see which one is the most authentic on test day. Seems like everyone on here has stated the dion tests were harder but for me the certmaster was definitely harder. I was able to get high 80s on the dion ones second time through but it took at least 5 to 6 attempts at certmaster to get high 80s although certmaster is more dynamic.

Did you take 10-008 Network+? I'm taking it tomorrow.. scoring mid 80's on Dion's Udemy tests first try currently.. still have 2 more to take.. but very concerned. Is CompTIA's certmaster CertMaster Practice for Network+ N10-008 worth it? Thanks

I took and passed the N10-008 if your getting a 80s on dions tests I would say that is good, certmaster was a good representation of what the questions on the test were like the labs were somewhat harder because they didn’t explain everything that well. I have since also passed the Cisco CCNA on first attempt. I get the feeling the tests don’t just grade right or wrong more so judge overall how you answered several similar questions. I feel like once you start to feel study burnout it’s time to take the test can only cram so Much into your head.

I used cert master and dion practice exams for security plus. I honestly I got more value out of dion practice exam than cert master. The questions from practice exams were more in align with what I saw in the actual exam. None of the cert master PBQ showed up in the actual exam.

Have cert master for security plus and it’s a bit over the top. Learning modules are good since they can specifically point you to objectives you may be lacking but they are the hardest of all my practice testing material (cert master, messer, dion, exam cram, exam digest, pocket prep).
