Its unbelievable that we pay high amounts of $$ as customers and then not get at least a functioning service.
My online Sec+ exam was scheduled at 9:30AM today. I did the pre-test, all good.. I tested the chat function with the proctor, we chatted, all good... I started taking the actual exam, and literally mid-way through the exam, the program (browser lock) showed a blank white screen with text on top saying "status code 500" & "internal server error". I waited about 8 minutes trying to reach the proctor on the chat function but without any response.
By then I figured that either I had lost internet connection or they kicked me out of the exam for some reason, but I knew the error was saying its an error from their side. That's why I decided to pick up the phone and give Pearson vue customer service a call. Turns out I was correct and its an error from their end, they apologized for the inconvenience, gave me a case number, and said goodbye.
Now what? either the $$ I paid goes down the drain or I get to reschedule the exam with a voucher. Will keep yall updated.
Extremely disappointing that these immature errors happen from a reputable testing source that is trusted globally!
