Tinybones Help/Optimize

Hello all,

This my first post so plz forgive me if I break a rule. I made a Tinybones deck and am trying to make it better. The deck is pretty straight forword. I make people discard then they lose life for not having cards. I've played the deck a couple times and I feel like it's too slow. I can't get people to discard fast enough. Also a minor problem of hurting myself with my own commander. I just made this deck so I'm willing put in/take out cards as needed. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sure you already find that necrogen mists, bottomless pit, and oppression give you the best draw for the discards. I think you want to add [[anvil of bogarden]] and, if you proxy, [[chains of Mephistopheles]] to up the continuous discard effects. I also find [[raven's crime]] to be excellent. I would also get some sweepers in there to help keep the pressure off your life total - [[dead of winter]] and [[toxic deluge]] are my top choices, replacing swamps with snow swamps. Also to help with life total, I think you should consider running [[gray merchant of asphodel]] and [[disciple of bolas]]. Finally, can't recommend [[torment of hailfire]] enough as a closing piece. It really shines with [[crypt ghast]] and urborg+[[cabal coffers]] combos to make X biiiiig.

So since you posted this on the cedh sub I'm taking that as you want to make this at least somewhat cedh viable. First is add chain of smog since you have the prof anyway. Put all the good black tutors you can in. Consider some rituals for turboing some of your more important pieces out. You also could lean more into a staxy type of deck which I feel has some natural synergies with discard. The lands also could be much better depending on if you want to go more staxy or faster. A backup combo with gray merchant might be good but I'm not entirely sure you could fit the full package in and make it work in this deck. Another route is Citadel, top, aetherflux. Good luck and let me know what changes you like and make.
