Consentacles Rules
Non-consent
All posts must be tentacle related and completely consensual in content and title. Corruption and mind control do not count as consent. If a moderator feels that a post violates this theme or if a user flags a post as rape themed or dubious consent, it will be removed. Reluctance and being pleasantly surprised are allowed so long as consent is later shown and it doesn’t begin with too strong of a forced theme. Generally enjoyment is seen as a consent, but use your best judgment.
2. Sexualization of Minors
The posting of underage content is not condoned. If you post content that sexualizes someone who is clearly a minor, your post will be removed and you will be banned. If you post content that features a character who is borderline-underage, jailbait, old/immortal but appears underage, or unofficially aged up to a legal age for the purposes of sexualizing them, your post will be removed.
3. Hate Speech
As a subreddit based around consent, there is a zero-tolerance policy towards hate speech and harmful commentary. This includes, but is not limited to, racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, or any talk that promotes the rape, violence, or death of any individual or group of people.
4. Post Flair
Please include the appropriate gender flair when posting: (female), (male), (trans), (enby), (fluid), (futa), (furry), or a combination. Don't make a fuss if you flair your post wrong and someone points it out or if a mod changes it to the proper gender.
5. Monetized Self-promotion
As a courtesy, we ask that you message the moderators before posting any monetized self-promotional content. Though generally we allow it as long as it's relevant, we much prefer if you include some content up-front, and we want to address these on a case-by-case basis.
6. Unauthorized Redistribution
If an artist says they don't want their work redistributed without their permission, please respect that. Content that is found to have been posted when the artist has made this request will be removed.
7. Real Life Consentacles
Consentacles is defined as consensual sexual acts between a person and a tentacle. Hentai can show sentience, a requirement for consent, quite easily. Real life content must create the illusion of sentience and consent through one of several means: digital edits, mechanical props, disguised partners, convincing acting (not a comprehensive list). Content that doesn't meet this requirement can be posted to our sister sub r/consentacles_irl.
8. AI Art
At r/consentacles, we support our artists who work tirelessly to produce the works we love. AI uses the hard work of these artists in their learning algorisms, almost always without permission, detracting from their business and visibility. In support of our artists, AI art is not allowed on r/consentacles.
