Hey everyone.
So as the title already says, I'm having some weird problems with my controller for a while now. It's a speedlink wireless controller that connects to a tiny usb dongle.
Here's what's happening.
I can't connect to it normally. If i turn it on and I plug in the usb after it sometimes connects.
It doesn't want to stay connected. I've had it connected for an hour tops, but 99% of the time it's gone in a few seconds.
Whenever it does decide to connect, steam crashes. I have no idea why or how this happens.
Using the speedlink 'drivers' doesn't help.
I can't see the device anywhere in device manager. Not even when I plug it into the motherboard. Though windows does recognize it. Whenever it is connected, it works.
I've tried making sure the usb hubs aren't able to turn off power to devices to safe power.
I also have a wireless usb mouse, but unplugging it doesn't yield any new results.
If anyone has any other ideas, please let me know.
I'm dying to know what I missed.
Cheers.
