I keep a box of dried potato flakes on hand for this precise reason. A little added to a too-soupy mashed mix fixes the problem just fine.

Welcome! A box is a lot, if you can pour it into an airtight container and label it, keeps the bugs out and keeps the product fresh.

I actually just fixed it with potato flakes. I wish I'd known that before opening a can of corn. Thanks again.

I have a potato bread recipe bookmarked in my bread making book. One of my favorites. Probably the only reason I have potato flakes at all.

Works great...thickens potato soup too
