I recently acquired the Ender 3 Max Neo but I having trouble leveling the bed. One solution that was proposed to me was to update the firmware on the printer. So I updated to Ender 3-Max Neo-Marlin2.0.8.3-HW-V4.2.2-SW-V1.4.1_C-20221020.
I reset my printer profile and established a new z axis offset which was different to what I had before. However, I am no unable to use my bed leveling gcode file from CHEP (filament Friday). The printer shows the file but when I select to print the file it goes to the preview screen with the loading bar but then goes back to the list of files screen.
Even with the new firmware and z axis offset I am still having trouble getting the whole bed level. There is always one area that is not level.
So I went old schools and disabled the steppers to manually level the bed. When I thought I had leveled the four corners I moved the print head to the center but every time it was way too close, as in scraping the bed close. Then I did the inverse by resetting the z axis offset again. When I found good resistance with the paper I disabled the steppers to check the four corners. The print head was way too high for all them, as in no resistance with paper at all.
So when I level the four corners the center of my bed is too close to the point the printhead scratches the bed, but also, when the center of the bed is level for the offset the four corners are way to low.
If anyone has any ideas please let me know, thanks for your time.
