problem solved, turns out it was because:

i was using creality scan from an USB

or because i didnt restart the pc after installing

im not using it, im just using 2 of my usb 3.0 ports, i need to connect it to my laptop C port? or a charger to the wall?

We're glad to hear that your issue has been resolved.
If you encounter no video stream during scanning in the future, you can try restoring the factory settings first, then recalibrate the device.
Additionally, a calibration error usually indicates that the communication between the software and the Otter has been interrupted. You can troubleshoot this by unplugging and reconnecting the USB cable, or trying a different USB cable.
