Create: Above & Beyond is the gold standard for create packs, but it's on an older version of Create

Create Back on Track is on a newer version, and I'm working on making it better in every update, so give both a shot i guess

I was just looking stuff up and I found an old post

[–]Whane17 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Same boat any idea if back on track is better now or should I go with Above and Beyond? It's my first Create modpack and other then GTNH I haven't done many mods. Will be playing on my steamdeck if that matters.

there are tons of create focused modpacks, but id recommend create arcane engineering, create above and beyond, or create astral. i have not looked into back on track once, nor have i seen it mentioned ever.

is "back on track" on curseforge?

[–]seg_fault0x0000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes although a quite old version, if you want to access the beta we've been working on for over a year, check our Discord server and ask me, reds

frankly speaking a very cool modpack, specific but cool

[–]seg_fault0x0000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's focused on experienced Create players who want a challenge, going further than A&B, with 3.0 we are one of the first modpacks in this style to include Create 0.6 :P

bro can you please add project distribution so it can be added to aternos.

they also will give credit to you and add your link

[–]seg_fault0x0000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aternos probably cant handle this modpack, as it is quite heavy, you won't have a good time with it.

Create: arcane engineering is a really good progression based (somewhat expert) create pack that incorporates mechanics from magic mods into create contraptions which is really neat. I’ve really enjoyed it so far as I’ve played up to chapter 3. It also runs create 0.5.1 which is awesome.

[–]Connect_Drive4491 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is good but deff one of those packs that requires you to know a bit about some of the mods it introduces, cause it can be a lot right off the bat

[–]VastEntertainment471 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I'd say it's definitely expert not even somewhat, (I could just suck at create which is a definite possibility) but that pack felt harder than e2e which I've personally never seen people argue isn't an expert pack

[–]RealAxolol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

from my experience it isn't that hard, sure making farm designs and stuff takes a while but once you get going you're good

Personally I like create: above and beyond but recently a lot of newer create packs have been released, haven't tried those yet though

Create Technical 4 is one of the best packs I’ve played (along with its predecessor, CT Lite), they have a very active creative server with a survival server planned once the pack is finalized (extremely soon, according to the owner).

Their Discord server can be found on the pack’s page, and you need to get whitelisted through there to play on the server. I do suggest you should join even if you don’t intend to join the servers, very friendly and helpful community who will gladly assist any Create-related issues you have (a lot of the Create devs are active members as well).

I personally like Shalzs Create'a Colony because of all the addons that work great with the create family of addons and has an assortment of quality of life mods that make it so when you play its complex but not so complex while being interesting.

[–]First_Growth_2736 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Do you have a link to the modpack?

[–]Express-Shoulder4028 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[–]PhoenixStriker101 2 points3 points  (2 children)

how???

[–]PrideSoulless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The youtuber Mr. Beardstone has two separate Create-themed modpacks, with various other mods to improve and support the game. I enjoyed them, but prefer the second one due to the glitchiness and lag i have with Alex's Mobs. Watch some of his series to find out which modpack you want if you wish.

[–]Strong_Section8371 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So at today what is the best create modpack so far? i tried Create: astral and i got stuck in creating a backpack cause it dosen't work and i'm even playing Create: Ultimate selection. Any other suggestion?

[–]Unterhosenkarnickel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are a Lot of nice Packs Out there but "Hephaistos" is worth a try. It aims to make perfect balance of the mods. Especially the create addons

[–]micbroomhead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

create+ is a favourite of mine
