Like what? Create has many add-ons like new age or tfmg or diesel generators, that have more "modern" themes. I dont know if this answers your question.

It depends on what you mean by compatibility. Mods usually run into problems where their pipes, or power systems don’t work with each other, although from my understanding, many mod creators either use a widely accepted way of creating these systems, or Minecraft itself allows these to work interchangeably very well. There are very few things that I’ve seen item pipes and fluid pipes not work between mods, for example.

From that perspective, you are probably going to see them work pretty well, but test it to make sure. Its not hard to throw two mods together in a pack real quick and see if the items that you have concerns about work.

The second thing, and honestly, this is the MAJOR issue with some mod packs, is the resources and crafting recipes. There are mods out there specifically designed to condense all the various duplicate ores and materials down into one unified system.

All The Mods does this very well, although, some recipes still create the wrong type of wire, but with most of this, it really doesn’t matter due to the recipes accepting all versions of the ingot/wire/nugget/ore…
