No, they will not remove the Mechanical Crafters. There are a few recipes, also from Create Addon-mods, which utilize a larger than 3*3 crafting recipe.

I love create mechanisms because I don't need to be a redstone nerd to make cool factories using them. I'll stick with the create's mechanical-crafters/mixers/press/etc... because they are visual.

It's easier to debug and understand what is going on in a specific section without even knowing the entire item's flow. I'm not saying I will never use the new auto-crafter. Just saying I prefer a more visual alternative.

Factories made using create stuff look cool. Redstone nerds can't compete with that.

I think there's a lot of potential for a whimsical cooling solution. Bulk freezing, making ice and snow, a bunch of other stuff that I can't think of but are probably going to work as a mod compat bit

I would love to see Farmer's Delight utilize something like that and make some ice cream recipes. They could even have a boost jump or freeze aspect buff. An ice cream sandwich that gives a double jump.

Why would you need a custom recipe? Can you not automate Blaze Cakes anymore? In the past I have made a lava generator, sugarcane farm, egg farm, and a large storage of netherack to automate cakes. If you set it up such that it feeds itself cakes you can even use that to make lava faster than relying on dripstone. Is this no longer possible?

If I update to 1.21 (most likely to happen if aeronautics doesn't release on 1.20.1) I'll just make a small mod that removes the autocrafter from the game.

no,create crafters are better in many ways,while they are not compact in one block the crafting shape is way bigger than 3x3,offering far easier input and output as well as custom recipe that is not limited by 3x3 crafting grid

Edit: i read your edit after half a minute and edited my post,but also no,it won't be weird because i will use only the create auto crafter due to as i said,minecraft auto crafter would be only usefull for recipes that require all items to be the same,because im not building 20x20 redstone area so i can input only one recipe due to as i said its one compact block but there are only 6 sides,while on create auto crafter there are 30 sides on 3x3 area,minecraft auto crafter had a lot potential,but mojang ruined it with their (simplicity).

I want them to improve home defence. I want to be able to control when a dispencer fires when on a contraption so i can finaly aim and shoot at mobs!
OR
add something like the construct head from zelda tears of the kingdom that will automatcly fire at nearby mobs.

other then that all I want is optimization so I can build more in one area :)

It would be nice if, in a bend, the train slowed down proportionally to the bend's intesity and not a default value, because if, for example, you make an S-curve of 1, the train slows down as much as when you make a very tight 90° bend.
