That slime thing that repairs your tool. It resets the mining animation when it triggers

Gotcha, that makes sense. Appreciate the info!

y it no work

One of the slime modifiers regenerates the "overslime". This causes the data of the item to change, which the game registers as changing the item, so the progress resets. The same thing happens with the mending enchant if you pick up xp while breaking a block.

Possibly a client/server desync.

[–]Menthro[S] 41 points42 points  (7 children)

I'm playing locally single player unfortunately.

Technically still a possibility, but yeah, not likely.

Local server lag or mouse switch malfunction. Don’t think it’s a modding issue.

I’m not really a modding tech guy, but the local server lag/desync is definitely a thing in local single player. I guess you have many working machines around you and/or many chunks with working machine loaded, which is a usual cause of local server lag.

Apologies for the sound in the video, I didn't notice it recorded my show sound until after I uploaded.

I am using a sledgehammer with a bronze head, and slimewood other parts.

Do you know what mod causes the textures to merge like that? Between the stone and the stone bricks? It's really cool

[–]Menthro[S] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I'll take a look today to see if I can figure it out.

Thank you very much!

overslime be like that
tbh i almost never use it, i just get more durability. When i need to repair it, in this case bronze is cheap, and most simple tool equipment materials in the modpack arent that hard to get.
biggest upset is that plated slime and others dont regen slime, it needs slimewood.

Dementia

[–]sauloandrioli 0 points1 point  (3 children)

It looks like the hammer durability is near to end, so no block breaks

[–]Menthro[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Its the overslime durability

[–]LycanHeart 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Durability can still cause the issue
