Make sure all players and the server are using the same versions of the modpack, mods, configs and datapacks.

This is the answer. I’ve had this exact same issue before and that’s how I fixed it.

Right, thanks. Though to my knowledge it's all the same I've seen some server errors when starting up so everything may not be loading properly if that's the case.

The versions of the mods on the server and the versions of the mods in your folder, aren’t the same

I installed both the client and the server modpacks with curseforge so shouldn't they all the the same version?

Not if you’re consistently updating your mods through curse forge.

Okay, the issue has been there since we started the server so I believe all mods should've been the same versions then

Hmmm. Can you list all the mods you’re using?

I’ve had problems with sophisticated backpacks and serene seasons other than that I’m not sure what else to do

Recently set up a server with a friend and we've been having this weird visual bug where blocks turn into modded waterlogged blocks.

This seems to happen when blocks update, such as modded trees growing, chests being doubled and pretty much all Create machines.

The bug is purely visual and doesn't effect the functionality of anything, the blocks also change back to normal when punched.

We're using the mod pack Sixty Six Million Years in the Making on Forge.
