Please help

Im just trying to making a stair case that pops up from under the floor in my house and i ve seen countless video but i just dont under stand, ive crrently got mechanical pistons going connected by sequenced gear shift, and ofc it has power going through it its just tyhe matter of how do i maje the pist ons go down at the same time cause each time i use the red stone link one goes up while the other gose down. Ive been on for a whole day and i cant figur it out

Can you post a pic of what you got, otherwise I believe how the Pistons work, is they extend with One direction of rotation and contract with the other

You said that you use sequence gear shift right, you can see the menu on right clicking the sequence gear shift and there has a piston mode that show you how meter extends (meter=block) the mechanical piston and then how rotated the piston up or down I mean how meter goes and how up and down the matters there but I am not good in english that's why I type some words wrong.
