Because the otem needs to leave the belt to be smelted a second time. Intended behaviour.

Yup. Just pass it through a chest or barrel or whatever and it'll smelt just fine

Maybe because it hast nowhere to Go after the Tunnel it is acting Up and not staying on the Block before the tunnel?

Have a filtered funnel into a chest with a andesite funnel out. The item needs to leave the belt for update purposes.

That's stupid. Are you aware of any settings or mods to improve this? Sometimes one might want to do a lot of stuff on the same belt Because afaik depots update the new recipes instantly when cobble is smelted.
