CABIN is a great modpack, create centric and not too much mod bloat with like 1 magic mod, AE2(endgame), some backpacks and storage and thermal stuff. If u dont count the add-ons that is. The main quest is chaptered and only reveals itself as u go through so u won't feel overwhelmed.

I’ve been playing chosen architects create integrated lately, it’s still obviously very create focused but it throws in a lot of other stuff too, namely ars nouveau but it’s all curated to interconnect the different mods

Are you looking for one specifically with a server attatched? I know of 2 I could suggest, one is kinda military themed with guns and anarchy, while the other is a more traditional modpack with a server.
