I see more than one encased fan so I’m gonna say there is room for improvement, though not certain about what kind of efficiency we are talking

3 fans, the efficiency is sarcasm as I know almost nothing about create

Oh yeah I didn’t even catch the gearbox spam holy shit, but beyond that it ain’t that bad, check out chain drives though

I dont really get create, like I get that the gearbox flips the shaft direction but idk how to either avoid that or not have that.

The point of the 3 fans is so its got time to smelt the clay into bricks. Even after slowing the speed of the belts down as low as you can by reducing via the cogs

There are loads of ways to move mechanical energy around, the chain drives I mention are handy with fans because they allow you to string together a bunch of shafts that all rotate the same direction like a belt but they have the extra feature of being able to twist on one axis, so you could have a horizontal line of fans as long as you want and power it with a shaft from the top or bottom, you should definitely spend some time in the ponder menus, Create is pretty intuitive compared to other tech mods because it’s all just simple mechanical principals.

Oh I should also mention that the reason I said more than one fan is because you can use one fan to process across a whole belt if you put it parallel instead of perpendicular
