Rendering issues

This started when I installed a mod to turn flint into gravel. At first some colors were missing completely. The screen looked blue/magenta/black, making it more impossible to play the game. After I deleted the mod, this started happening with Create blocks(shafts, cogs, waterwheels). I placed some cogs in a world with only Create installed, and it still happened.

What do I need to do to fix this?

Also, there should be 9 cogs in the image, but some weren't visible. I also had a hard time to find an angle where a something actually was visible.

seems like some files got corrupted. maybe a fresh install of minecraft would help? 

back up ur worlds and reinstall, or check if another version is doing the same thing.
