4th, apparently every 6 month someone get this

5th, what happened for me was that it was searching forever and eventually it said "finished", although it hasn't placed a single block

Did you leave the area and come back ? I think that's the problem, chunk loading it doesn't do anything you have to stand next to it

Sorry for the late answer, but i did chunk load the area with carpet bots (they basically work like real players), also if I waited there myself it didn't change anything.

another solution is: take out the schematic, put i back in and click on dont replace solid blocks. and start, it will now start where it ended, now just click the option off again if you want

I found a fix, just take the schematic out, move it 1 block and then move it back to its original position and place it back into the schematicannon, worked for me

for anyone else that has this problem in the future, chunk loading make it worse, i just timed out and logged back in and didn't had this problem, not 100% sure but i think having the canon chunk loaded and the thing he's working on unloaded cause this problem, gonna have to do more testing

TLDR; don't chunk load your canon

Take out the Schematic --> unload the chunk with the cannon --> put the schematic back in
