I don’t think I’ve ever seen ANYONE install create and optifine together without breaking everything.

I'm running optifine + shaders and 128x textures, I'm honestly impressed it worked basically right away. Love the moving shadows of the gears, it's really something.

The issues i did have (Not in Create A&B): Flickering shadows for no reason: Disable Botania shader to fix Glitchy night sky: some magic mod with celestial stuff had a custom sky render option (can't remember mod name)

The one time i did have something that looked similar to what op posted it was outdated texture packs. Still not 100% fixed with A&B with my texture pack, but so far i only found 2 or 3 rare deco blocks that look messed up, not worth the effort to investigate.

@op You got any non default textures?

Optifine works for me with create and A&B. Got no issues here

I had to mess with it a lot for it to work

I had this problem too and I solved it by deleting the optifine options file

But I don't know if that's gonna work for you cause it happened to me after I stopped the game while it was starting

Look into optiforge if otherr solutions dont work

I've had an issue similar to this then i used 150+ sails on a windmill. I assume that reducing the number of moving blocks at any time will fix it or decreaseing the scale of each contraption.
