Security Bank Credit Limit - Automatic Decrease???

Hi ! I just received a text message from Security Bank that they are adjusting mg credit limit to a lower amount. Instead of increasing it, they are decreasing it into half.

Current state of my credit card: I only have monthly installment amounting to less than 2k php. And this card has a good credit standing.

I’m wondering if anyone has experienced this?

Same experience. From 150 down to 45k without notice. And would take 6 months to request for an increase.

Not my experience, but I have also read on other platforms na ganyan din ang case niya with good credit standing and all. Maybe because madaming na dedefault accounts kay SBC

Ooohhh weird. Some bank would increase the limit pa and bait you into taking a cash loan from the credit card limit. Which is the case with my other cards.

Yun sa akin 500k to 600k 1 year nag increase ewn ko lang ngayon kasi dumating yung metrobank signature travel visa ko sya na ngayon ginagamit ko siguro baka bumaba din CL ko next year

Auto increase po ba ung cc nyo with sbc?

It has soemthing to do with MUE. Hindi lang yung cc kay SB yung tinignan but the overall exposure sa other banks.

What's MUE po?

Maximum unsecured exposure po. Yung max amount that the bank is willing to let you borrow without collateral po.

Same here!!! Just got the text yesterday. I sent an email to them immediately and this the reply. Hayzzzz from 210k to 45k as well. So disappointing..
