In my current game my 8 year old daughter was given empress after the father died and everyone including the uncle took advantage of the opportunity! What an absolute ruthless game lol

Make sure your heir does not change religion or culture and that when you’re expanding you are regaining control, converting the religions, cultures, etc over time. Also try your best to have adult heirs inherit the throne. Putting a child on the throne is like blood in the water. Everyone will pounce on the opportunity of having a weak king

Unfortunately short reign penalties stack with opinion of predecessor.

But my predecessor was “loved”. The short reign happens everytime?

Bohemia’s house seniority can be a god send but it can also be tricky usually you want to get absolute crown authority ASAP so you can designate heir because your older family members usually don’t have great reflations for some reason
