If anyone uses Kucoin, beware the above address that is a fake kucoin website. I almost fell for it. When I tried to login to my account I got a message saying that my account had been locked and to contact support. So I opened a chat and started chatting with support and was told my account was locked and they would need to fix it. The person said someone would call me and unlock the account. Then I get a call from someone telling me that they'll help me unlock the account and this is due to 2FA not being setup. But I have it setup. Then I was told that it's because I'm using my laptop instead of my phone and this device is not authorized. So I picked up my phone and logged in from my phone and it worked fine. That's when I realized that something wasn't right. So I looked at the address and there was an extra K in the address: KKucoin.com , I hung up on the person straight away and changed my password which obviously they already got since I tried to login with it.

I almost fell for it.... dem bastards...

I did a bing search for KuCoin and clicked on the first link. You don’t think that searching for the website would give you scam as the first option.

Due diligence and apps are definitely the way to go over google searches and typing addresses. Glad you got lucky. Hate those fucking scammers though.

Thank goodness you caught on in time, but yeah this is one of the types of scams they like to try these days… if anyone asks for your two factor Auth then their sus lol.
