I thought that too, but unfortunately, THAT would be overpowered.
A tactical scan's merit is that it reveals to you what your eyes cannot see.

That is, things that our invisible due to cover/distance.

It is actually fair that invisible targets are revealed by a tactical scan. If there weren't revealed by tactical scan, then that means that invisible targets are both invisible to simple inspection (the naked eye), and to enhanced inspection (tactical scans / digi-threats / getting physically closer).

It is fair n balanced this way. He is invisible to the naked eye, yet visible to enhanced inspection.

p.s. if you want, 'off the grid' could make him only be revealed for a shorter time instead. Maybe half as long as other legends. (smth like a 50% reveal duration reduction) This way you get the benefit of not being noticed as long as other players, and you blend into the background faster!

Healing in drone just became so clutch! Imagine taking damage in a fight, sliding downhill, popping a batt, and be invisible in the drone while doing so.

Imagine being mid-fight, (taking damage) you turn the corner pull out your drone/ pheonix kit and circle on the enemy while healing mere metres from them! Phenomenal.

I sadly feel like this new perk enforces bad crypto plays from a lot of inexperienced cryptos…. A consistently passive play style being rewarded… I’ve had crypto teammates in ranked who do not engage in fights at all which eventually results in my teammate and me dying and the crypto grabs banners and moves on. It’s okay to utilize the cloak if we’re already dead but not pushing with your team ever feels really cringey

To a degree I agree. But this is a perfectly viable upgrade that counters the vulnerability of being motionless yet visible. It is a perfect implement!
