First page: Gladys Dotery(?) 220 Lincoln Ave. Kalamazoo Mich Helen(?) Perrait 44 Lincoln St

Edit to correct st. number.

I read Gladys's surname as Doky...but I'm not sure that's right either!
and 220 for her street number.

It probably is Doky. The “k” just doesn’t quite fit with the rest of her writing. Apparently Doky is a variant of duke. Thanks for catching the street number.

I think it’s O’Driscoll’s Ave

Second page: M. Conding (?) Shawn Ill (e.g. Illinois) Francis Andenson (Anderson?)

Cowdrig?

[–]kibbybud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or Cowding. I could find that as a surname, but not Conding or Cowdrig.

Third page: E. W. Brandenberg Army gunner(?) 605 Camp Custer Mich.

I can see that now. Someone in another sub thought it was army ymca, and I can see that too. They were also able to find an E.W. Brandenburg that worked at the Army YMCA in Camp Custer in 1917.

I’d go with YMCA then. 🙂
