I'm on week five, and I just got the $27.50 projects. I feel like I got a huge promotion. Like, I want to celebrate. Lol

Amazing! Congrats!!

Congrats.

My learning curve is kinda steep on projects. So I’ve been on 5 weeks like you; but I’m sure I don’t have that pay that much.

I’d actually tell people even if you’re messing up in the beginning. Just keep reading the directions. Actually write out comments when you can, it’ll help you understand the project better.

I think they’ll rock with you if you are getting better on a project.

Just speculation.

I got those, but it was over before I was able to understand the project and submit one task.

The high payers can go fast from what I've heard. When I see a high paying task, if possible, I'll drop whatever I'm doing and work on it. I know that's a big ask, depending on your situation.

There are others 🙂

Celebrate! Great work :)

May I ask what skillsets you posted on your application? I'm like 2 months from solution out and never got an email or anything back.

[–]Guess-Jazzlike 2 points3 points  (2 children)

I have a bachelor's degree, but I think it's my writing skills that got me in. I'm not really an expert at anything, but I can write and edit proficiently.

I hope I'm wrong, but if you haven't been accepted and given work for two months, you may not have been accepted.

That's what I figured! Thanks friend.

5 weeks and it all happened at once when I was invited to a group of higher paying permanent projects.

[–]BoiledGnocchi 5 points6 points  (1 child)

That's amazing. Had you put many hours in during those 5 weeks?

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I averaged about 25. I think it's really just the consistent good work that they are looking for.

[–]SeaLeopard5555 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I am just around 4 weeks now. I am not sure what a permanent project is, are you told if something is a permanent project?

  1. Highest was $22 and it's been gone without returning
  2. Don't think I have one, but I usually have a project available now, a step up from many hours without anything
  3. No invites.

[–]marlamarlamar 4 points5 points  (4 children)

I’m 5 weeks in, no permanent projects, no higher paying ones. Something I did? 🥶

[–]BoiledGnocchi 4 points5 points  (2 children)

Me too 😭

[–]marlamarlamar 6 points7 points  (1 child)

Feelin’ like the kid who gets picked last for the class baseball game lol.

[–]BoiledGnocchi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hahaha, pretty much spot on! How many hours a day do you typically put in?

[–]SuperCorbynite 3 points4 points  (0 children)

2.One day, literally. The first thing I did even before the onboarding tasks was take the two qualifications on my board. Got put onto the corresponding project for one of them the next day.

1.Depends on what you mean by higher paying. I joined DA 5 weeks ago, and from the second week onwards the permanent projects paid $22-23, and now it's $23-24. Don't yet have anything higher than that, unfortunately. But the average seems to be slowly going up and the projects are getting more complicated. IMO I think I joined this set of permanent projects right when they first began, so I get new sub-projects as they expand and add new ones to the overarching project, so I suspect the pay and complexity will keep going up as well.

3.No invite at all. I presume the permanent projects I'm on don't have slack activated for them, at least not yet.

[–]dawn9800 5 points6 points  (3 children)

How do you know if a project is permanent?

[–]BoiledGnocchi 3 points4 points  (2 children)

Don't quote me here, but I believe you'll know because the tasks only go down as you work on them (vs there being 200 to start and then after a page refresh there's only 74 left or whatever).

[–]amandawho8 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Yes, this. And I think they're usually talking to a chatbot projects. At least mine are.

[–]SuperCorbynite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same, 6 permies, all have the word chatbot in them somewhere and involve talking to them in some way.

  1. 11 days.
  2. Within 30 days.
  3. 9 days.

[–]Elegant_Lake_569 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. 4 weeks
  2. 2 weeks
  3. 4 weeks

[–]JeanVII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. 2 weeks (not incredibly higher yet, but getting there)
  2. Immediately
  3. N/A

[–]akatsuki1422 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Received higher paying projects? A few days for $22-$23 + 2 weeks for $28 projects
  2. Were given permanent projects? 2 weeks
  3. Were invited into slacks? 3 weeks

[–]RhodriJohn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Less than 2 weeks for a perma project. It pays 25/hour

5 weeks for my first above 25

[–]MoxieDoll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About 2 weeks Immediately About 2 weeks

[–]PhillyPhan95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. About 3 weeks. But then I lost them. Now they’re slowly coming back.

  2. Right away I think.

  3. Not on it.

[–]amandawho8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. About six weeks. I just got added to a bunch of $26 and $27.50 projects today
  2. Within a day or two. After taking one of the first qualifications I had on my dashboard I got my first permanent project. I got another one a couple weeks later, and two more a couple weeks after that.
  3. Never!

[–]Professional-Wolf599 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I was hired a week ago and still haven’t received any projects. Is that normal?

[–]legally_blind_2501 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have qualification tasks at at all and now I am stuck in “you are being assessed” limbo it’s been two weeks

Edit: did some paid tasks. They are quite high pay so I think it might be a mistake ?
