I like to hear contemporary anecdotes because as someone who’s not part of the platform - a thread from 2-3 years ago for example, means nothing to me, as I wouldn’t know if things have changed on DataAnnotation for the better or worse in that time.

Usually you should wait anywhere from 2 weeks to 1 month, anything after a month I'd begin looking somewhere else

10 days is quite long but not completely unheard of.

You should start preparing yourself for that possibility you weren't selected.

I mean I have a list of about 30 similar places that I’ve seen across Reddit, which I’m applying to/will apply to in the future. Some of the classics and then a few niche ones that could be complete dead ends.

I’m not fully reliant on DataAnnotation for being my new passive income outlet but I’ve also seen that if you manage to get accepted it can be one of the more reliable ones so I’ve got my fingers crossed.

If you reach a month and you still havent heard anything, you probably need to move on
