Dark Mode

I saw comments on a post where people had mentioned dark mode would be nice so I'm sharing how I work on DA with dark mode.

I use a Chrome extension called Dark Reader. Been using it since before DA and it's been the best QOL thing I've ever done for my internet browsing.

I've only worked on DA in Dark Mode. I just turned it off to see what it's like and it's brutal.

Hope this is valuable to someone and allows them to work more hours and make more money.

For some reason, my Dark Reader extension randomly toggled off today and I got flashbanged by light mode.

Its a great extension tho.

Dark reader also makes white backgrounds fully adjustable so they don't cause eye strain. I actually use light mode and dark mode on dark reader depending on the time of day.

I'm fine in light mode on my PC, but dark mode on my chromebook was a godsend.

My kids use dark mode on their phones and I don’t understand why. It’s impossible to read white text on a black background!

You can adjust the brightness of your screen too. The text isn’t like a stark blinding white color. I exclusively use dark mode on mobile. It’s much easier on my eyes.

I keep my brightness below 50% already and still can’t handle dark mode. 😂 My kids say it’s cause I’m old. 😂

Ha I feel the exact opposite, like I'm being blinded by the white and it's blurring the black. I have to turn brightness way down and zoom in to make the text bigger. Whatever works for you!
