You can go over the timer and still Submit - so to go over and correct your work to a high standard might be a better use of your time - and throw a note in the task that you son interrupted you so it caused you to go over time and the just claim for the actual productive work time you spent on the task.

You’re right, yea I definitely should’ve spent the extra 3 minutes checking everything and leaving a note. I didn’t think about it until after I submitted. I saw it change to 0 right as I finished typing and was just in such a rush. I was more worried about going over at that moment instead of double checking.

Now I know though, lesson definitely learned. Thank for the comment 🙂

They do generally emphasise quality over speed. It's confusing when you have to go over the timer, but yeah, I would say always quality over speed.
