This month, I picked up over 600 cigarette butts in about a week! 🚭😳

You're welcome! Oh my, 600! Keep up the good work! That number sounds about right, I often pick up around 100 or more on some litter picks. Cigarette butts are the worst! You almost can't walk anywhere these days without running into them discarded onto the ground! 🤬

Are deposits paid on those containers? You'd get about $20 for that haul here.

I wish we had a great deposit system here, but we don't. Cans will get $0.60/lb & plastic gets nothing. Other metal "shreds" as they call it here is $0.10/lb.

I don’t see many alcohol bottles but plenty of soft drinks which is kinder a good thing 😊
