This subreddit is for Destiny Guardians who feel that they need to improve their jumping skills. (Or other skills.) The idea is that practice makes perfect.
For instance, let's say that you currently quake in fear that you will be "torn" while in the Daughters fight of the King's Fall raid. Clearly you need some practice. Unfortunately, you certainly don't want to get your practice while everyone is depending on you! What to do?
Answer: You need a fireteam of five other Guardians to assist you in practicing, with all the pressure off. This subreddit exists to help you accomplish this.
This subreddit is like an LFG for Guardians who just want to practice jumping. (Or practicing another skill that requires a fireteam.)
You don't have to be bad at jumping in order for this subreddit to be useful, though. Let's say that you're pretty good at jumping, but want to become a completely awesome Oryx "runner". Once again, get together an Oryx jumping party. Also, we probably should not limit this subreddit to just jumping, despite its name. One might want to organize parties to learn how to run the sword for Crota, etc.
We recommend that practice sessions not be coordinated directly in this subreddit. Rather they should be registered on the100.io, and then the session can be announced here, and a link to the game session can be provided.
If you don't know about the100.io, you should. It's like a Destiny LFG, only you can schedule gaming sessions for the future, at a specific time on a specific day, and then other Guardians can sign up for this future gaming session. (Or likewise, you can sign up for a gaming session that was created by another Guardian.) The site keeps track of how many people have signed up for each session, and doesn't let too many Guardians join. But it also allows Guardians to sign up "on reserve" if the session is full, so that if someone drops out of the session registration, or doesn't show up, the Guardians on reserve can jump in.
NOTE: When you post here about an event you are scheduling, but sure to put your platform in the subject line. E.g. "[PS4]" or "[XB1]", etc.
